After Susanna put her husband through law school and became pregnant, he
left her to marry another attorney. When the court awards custody of their
now
eleven-month-old son to her ex-husband, Susanna leaves her new love and
flees with the child. Some strong language, some violence, and some explicit
descriptions of sex.
This was another new author for me. I did enjoy this book but I'm now
reading another by her called Secret Lives and it's really good. The Escape
Artist is a bitter-sweet story of love, friendship and motherhood. I really
related to the Mom in this story, I'd have done the same thing she did. I
give this one a 4 out of 5, and I'm looking forward to reading more of her
books.
